Report: Main Street Recovery Is Slow Despite TARP Gains

Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program Neil Barofsky released a report highlighting challenges that remain for Main Street. "Even as Wall Street regains its footing ... signs of distress on Main Street remain disturbingly persistent," he said while noting that government losses on TARP will be less than originally projected.
