Squire’s Megan Bronson Named One of Utah Business Magazine’s 30 Women to Watch

Service-oriented leader and champion of women, Squire’s own Megan Bronson has been named one of Utah Business’ 30 Women to Watch for 2023.

Megan has been with Squire since 2006 when she joined as an intern while finishing her Master’s of Accountancy at Brigham Young University. Since then, Megan has grown into a Partner role at Squire and has added many professional accomplishments to her resume as a Certified Public Accountant.

Megan’s leadership at Squire has helped create an infrastructure for women to advance in their careers while managing the responsibilities of motherhood. After noticing a growing need to accommodate the women at Squire, she worked with colleagues to allow mothers to work part-time from home and then ramp up to full-time when ready. Megan’s initiative was started before remote work was common and became important to everyone at Squire during the pandemic. Her work with female-focused initiatives has also earned Squire recognition as one of 100 Utah Companies Championing Women.

Outside of work, Megan gives her time serving on the board for the Kiwanis Club of Orem, a service-based organization that benefits children and families in the Utah Valley area. She is the current Chair of the Utah Valley Women’s Business Network that has led her to introducing golf to many professional women, knowing it will benefit their careers. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Megan has lived her faith through serving others. Many young women in her congregation approach Megan at church and ask for advice about their careers, which she is happy to give freely.

Megan’s story is a reminder that leadership is not just about achieving personal success, but also about creating opportunities for others to succeed. By being a role model and working to create a more inclusive workplace, Megan has made a difference not only at Squire but throughout the community as a whole.
