After 40 Years, Tim Christensen, Is Retiring

With appreciation, we would like to announce the retirement of Partner, Tim Christensen. Tim’s decision to retire will bring a close to a remarkable career of 40 years of service with the firm, 35 of which, was as on of our partners.

“Tim has been an amazing partner for us at Squire. He was an integral part of the success of our Wealth Management team,” said Jonyce Bullock, Squire CEO. “We are forever grateful for Tim’s innovation and spirit he has brought to our firm, many of us consider him a close friend, including his clients. We wish him the best with the adventures in front of him.”

Tim started at here at Squire in 1981 after graduating from BYU with a Masters of Tax degree and passing the CPA exam. He quickly moved into a partnership position in July 1986 and has been an instrumental part of our growth. The Pension Administration Services, a program to help our clients plan for retirement, and the Wealth Management branch that helps our clients build their wealth are two of the many projects and developments that he led over the years. In addition to company-wide programs, Tim has also been an important example for everyone at the firm, specifically new CPAs seeking mentorship to learn how to develop relationships and serve clients.

“It has been my privilege and honor to have been part of the Squire family,” said Tim. “I have been so blessed to have built lifelong friendships with those I have worked with and the clients I have served. I had no idea when I began this journey in 1981 how much these relationships would mean to me. Though I won’t be going into the office on a daily basis any longer, my wife Melanie and I know that the bond that we have with all these great people will continue for the rest of our lives.”
